This post is for Andrew, who annoyed me online and in person to update.
Recently I had a dream that I was a Brady.
More recently I went blueberry picking for the first time in my sheltered suburban life. I think we spent about an hour out there. Right when we were about to leave, I felt ill and my vision went blurry and I kinda fell over in the middle of the field. So, I sat there for a few minutes just breathing deeply, trying to clear my head. While I was doing this I noticed that I couldn't hear myself breathing. It was a very strange sensation.
Yesterday when I was reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, I noticed something interesting. This is only my second time reading it surprisingly. There were two characters mentioned in the chapter where Moody shows Harry the photograph of the original Order members; Marlene McKinnon and Dorcas Meadowes.
Now, I don't have any crazy theory about these characters, but I had gotten way into a fanfic on Quizilla during the school year buy RohanElf that centered around the characters Dorcas Meadowes and Marlene McKinnon.
While reading the fanfic, I never thought that these two were actually JKR's characters. RohanElf's story is really great and I want anyone who has actually bothered to read this far to go and check it out. She's a pretty talented author and the only problem I have with her work is that she mentions Ugg boots incessantly even though they didnt' exist in the time of the Marauders...
